Beetroot Oats Cheela is very easy to cook for breakfast and brunch. In fact, the recipe ingredients are easily available in the Indian market.

The Beetroot Oats cheela can be accompanied by yogurt, Pudina chutney, tomato ketchup, or any pickle.

Oats Batter & Beetroot Paste
Beetroot Paste for Cheela
We will start with preparing the beetroot paste.
You can use all the grated veggies as mentioned in the ingredient list however the main ingredient is beetroot and onion in this paste.
Once you have all the veggies ready and grated, take a nice and clean pan and add oil/ghee in the pan and add cumin seeds and hing.
Keep the gas flame at medium to low level and add ginger garlic paste. If you like spicy paratha then you can add small cut chilies, let it fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
Add small cut Onion in a pan and stir it for 5 minutes and add grated carrot and beetroot also if you have corn and green peas and let is roast for 5 more minutes. stir and fry them until all the ingredients roast and splutter.
Transfer in a bowl or plate and let it cool down.
Oats Batter for Cheela
Now, It is time to prepare for Oats batter
- Take 1 cup of Oats and 1 cup of Besan flour
- Mix it well with water and keep it aside.
- You can also add any flour for filling.
Keep it aside for 5 to 7 minute
You can then mix the beetroot paste in besan oats battar. once you mix both the paste well in one bowl you can add salt, chat masala, black paper lemon juice, honey drops.
Once batter is ready, You can take one pan and apply oil/ghee on a pan. You can take about 1 cup of thick batter and make it a thick pancake on a pan. Heat the griddle on medium heat.
Work the spatula under the cheela and make sure the cheela is not sticking to the pan anywhere. Apply oil/ghee on the top side.
Gently flip it opposite side after 2 to 4 minutes and let it roast for the same time
